2023 Scholarship Presentations

Ever wonder where our event ticket sales go? Mesquite Western Poets works hard to present quality cowboy poetry to the local communities, but it doesn't stop there. In addition to supporting the Mesquite Community Theatre and the Mesquite Arts Council,

we also award scholarships to local students who have an interest in creative writing or agriculture related occupations.

This year we were pleased to present scholarships to Ollin Guzman and Addie Hillius. We wish them both the best as they go on to further their education. You can read more about Ollin and Addie on our "About Us" page in this website.
