BRUCE BUGLAND

Bruce (BT as he’s known) has a different background than most Cowboy Poets. Born and raised in New York City, he always had a love of the outdoors as well as the Old West. He went into the Army at 19 and shortly after returning from Vietnam, moved out West. 

BT is retired and lives in Hurricane Utah with his wife Pam.  They both enjoy the outdoors and and among other activities, participate in the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. BT started writing Cowboy Poetry back in 2008 and while his poetry initially focused on Cowboy Action Shooting, it now includes the Old West, the outdoors, Veterans and whatever else may come to mind.  He’s also an avid outdoor photographer.
